Who We Are

Go Teach Recruitment is an academic job agency, specializing in recruiting permanent, long term and daily supply teacher jobs and education support staff for vacancies in Children’s Nurseries, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Further Education establishments. Our team is committed to working with mainstream and specialist schools for students with special needs.

Who We Recruit

We encourage qualified teachers, learning support specialists, and senior leaders to apply for a wide range of positions in educational settings throughout the UK.

Primary

We hire people for a variety of positions in the Primary sector. A PGCE or a degree (BEd, BA, or BSc) with QTS, which qualifies you to teach at this level, is typically required for candidates to be considered by primary schools. Schools also require students to have English, math, and science GCSE scores of C or higher.

Secondary

We hire for a variety of secondary schools across the nation. The requirements for this position are similar to those for Primary; you must have a PGCE or a degree (BEd, BA, or BSc) with QTS in order to be eligible to teach at this level. English and math at the GCSE level, or an equivalent, must both be at least a C. Additionally, you will require an enhanced DBS, which you can apply for online or with our help.

Further Study

Universities offer courses like a Cert Ed or PCET that are specific to FE teaching, and employers might look for credentials that are specific to your field. Universities, colleges, and other providers also offer a variety of diplomas and certificates in FE education. Simply determining the appropriate credentials for your field of study and the grade level you wish to teach at is all that is required. You can apply online or with us for an Enhanced DBS, which is also required to work in the FE sector.

Other Place of Employment

We also fill vacancies in a number of education-related, more specialized positions. This covers everything from universities to SEN schools to UTCs to training facilities. To make sure you are qualified for these sectors, research is required because most of these fields tend to require more specialized training and experience is typically preferred.
